Brazil Fazenda Pântano – our new guest coffee
May 28, 2013

We are really enjoying working with the very best artisan roasters around at the moment, and loving being able to bring you the very best coffees from different regions and producers. As an independent we are able to make relationships with boutique roasters who share our passion for the very best quality. Our new guest single origin is no exception. Directly sourced by our good friends at Falcon Speciality Coffee and roasted by an exciting new roaster, Horsham Coffee Roasters, Brazil Fazenda Pântano is a wonderful coffee. Packed with berry and plum flavours, with a hint of the rich chocolate notes that make Brazilian coffees a firm favourite with everyone.

Fazenda Pântano is located in the Minas Gerais region. The yellow bourbon cherries are picked and pulped and then immediately dried on African style raised beds for air drying. This results in a cleaner cup than a natural processed coffee, with brighter notes and a lighter body but with greater complexity. All processing takes place on the farm, which also supports a local school and also funds various training schemes and courses for its staff. It is certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
